Website: aspencountryday.org Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Andy: Kudos to George for putting all of this together! To summarize the last 25 years, YIKES!, I went to grad school and became a teacher. I lived in Norwalk and taught at NCC and an alternative high school run by none other than Dr. Felchurcher from Middlebrook. But I longed to live in the mountains, so I moved to Aspen Co. and taught at ACDS. I met my husband Brian there and we moved to Minneapolis so we could afford to raise children. That led us to the Bay area in pursuit of the dotcom rush. We missed the goldmine, but had a great experience. Two kids later, we decided that we wanted to return to the mountains to raise our kids. So I'm back in the Aspen area "living the dream." If you are ever in the area, give me a shout. I hope to see you in October. |

Occupation: Domestic Engineer
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 3 From Catherine: OK, so this is lame, the reunion is this weekend!! But just to fill in some of the blanks beforehand, here's some bare bones: Live in Wilmette IL, which is like Wilton only flatter. Moved to Chicago 13 years ago for husband Tim to go to business school at Kellogg, never left, don't really know why anymore. Weird fact: Was set up on blind date with Tim by Doug Weiskopf (who is techinically a member of class of '81). Doug and Tim are still best friends. Married 16 years. Have 3 girls - Susannah and Julia (twins, 10 years old) and Caroline (almost 6). They are my jewels. Will bring pictures. Have mostly worked in computers (information technology), last job being technical writing, unless you count a little database work for kids' elementary school. Now am professional mom, for the time being. Played bass in a band for a little while, in fact we're planning a reunion next Feb in SF area somewhere. Didn't keep up the singing, but I do play in a handbell choir sometimes. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Riding Club. I too vote for a little disco music, but only a little (do you hear that, Megan?)! |

Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Carol: Hi class of 1981, I like everyone else cannot believe it has been 25 years. I am so looking forward to reconnecting with everyone this October. First, my hat is off to George and Rick because they are the only reason this reunion has become a reality. I at some point had good intentions of helping them but that never happened. I am sorry. The last 25 years have been filled with much joy, growth and happiness. I have been married to a wonderful man for 16 years we have two beautiful girls. Emily (13) and Sara (9). We presently live in a small town just 35 miles north of Philadelphia, Pa. My husband’s career has had us living in various places with the most interesting being Frankfurt, Germany. After college I had numerous jobs with the focus always being on account management. My favorite, working for Jones New York handling their Lord and Taylor account. Of course, that was before children. Right now, I am a full time mother and a part time Fitness Instructor. I teach Spinning, Abs and Teen Aerobics. My real passion is running with many races under my belt I am presently training for 1/2 marathon in Sept. Again, thank you George and Rick for making this reunion so special. I look forward to seeing all of you. |

Occupation: Co-Owner/Sales & Busines Development Website: www.margaretlevan.com Marital Status: Married From George Samuel: Hello Again Everybody:
Well, here's some old and new news.... After graduation I spent my freshman year at the University of Maryland, primarily because I felt that Yale was too close to home and UM was the next best school I got into. But I soon decided that I actually did want to be closer to home and transferred to UConn, which I loved, and graduated in 1985 with an Economics degree. That summer, Kocher, Rowe and I did the European train thing after graduation (although Rowe could only put up with me for about one of the 8 weeks we were there and decided to set out on his own). Came home, went back to working at Mario's, met a headhunter, and took a pay cut when he placed me in a sales job in the pulp and paper industry. The job came with a company car, thank goodness, so I sold my beat up Camaro and used the money to buy two cheap suits and three ties. Then, after 5 years in the Wilton area, the late, great Scotty Pressler introduced me to my now wife Margaret Le Van, an artist/designer and Weston '82 grad (although Nantucket's really as much "home" to her as anything else). We married on Nantucket, then my job took us to Appleton, WI and Savannah, GA for 2 years each, We've been in the Charleston, SC area for about 11 years now and love it...great little city... It's hard to believe it's almost been a year since the reunion...time flies...and, like you, things never seem to stop changing in our lives. As some of you may remember, we were planning to relocate to Ft. Lauderdale this time last year but, unfortunately, after almost a year it was clear the job wasn't going to work out. On many levels, I'm truly disappointed because if there are any growth opportunities to be found in the pulp and paper industry, it is with a South American producer. On the other hand, the commute to and from SC was a pain, and given the state of the real estate market, insurance and taxes in Florida, it isn't hard for us in many (MANY) ways be relieved. So I'm looking for a job (wanna resume?)...for now, we plan to stay in the Charleston area..hopefully something will develop soon...but as I look, I'm also spending time working with Margaret on her business (www.margaretlevan.com). Hopefully she'll be rich soon and I can focus on takin' it easy in the morning and relaxing in the afternoon with the dogs before dinner.... My sister Tee (WHS '82) is fine...she's a Social Worker in Stamford, and lives in Trumbull. In September of '89 we lost Mom to her long, tough fight with "The Big C", as she called it...but Dad and his wife Barbara (speaking of Saints) are also well, splitting time between homes in Southbury and Greensboro, NC. Somehow she has been successful at convincing him to cut back on the hours he puts into his company, so he now spends more time building models, playing around on eBay, and stealing condiments and napkins from fast food restaurants. So that's the latest in our universe..I hope things are well with you all, stay in touch, and please keep those updates and photos coming... Your Pal, George 2115 Sewee Indian Court Mt.
