Birthday: May 03, 1963
Occupation: Retail Management
Marital Status: Divorced
From Jim:
Married 1988-2007, 2 Sons James and Matthew (Yes named after my oldest and dearest friend).
When I went to North Texas, my Dad wanted me to go for Accounting So I tried to double major but that was a bad decision. I didn't do either any justice. In my last year GM, IBM and a bunch of others laid off 10's of 1000's of Accountants so my Dad told me the Music might be something good to fall back on...LOL! I did studio work in LA and played on the road throughout the midwest. Met a girl (ask Poe or Doug Overby, they both met her) Fast forward to 1989.........
20 years ago I was sitting in my lawyers office going over a recording contract (George has heard my best stuff, so he can tell you if its any good.....come to think of it, 'George if anyone else wants to hear it pass it around'.) and The Entertainment Attorney said "Jim, we can do better than this!" Hard Rock was about to fall to grunge and then succumb to hip-hop so the window was alot smaller than I had anticipated. Ever since I've been in retail management. Next time you complain about the long lines at Wally-world think about me And from the look at me now pic you can see what good that career (and that lawyers advice) did for me.
Its good to hear that Rowe isn't queer (well not anymore anyway....RO will you pull your head out of your a-- ro).ROFLMAO!
Its not so good to hear the only girl from WHS I ever actually kissed is now hitting for the other team. I didn't think I was that bad at it. Oh and by the way! As luck would have it (bad luck that is) The only women I've ever: been involved with, dated or married have been named Mary. So that confirms it! (to me anyway) I would have been more successful in life with a Holly, Stacey, or Dana by my side.
Ya know? Considering me and Fulls were next door neighbors and we (Mike, Scotty P and myself) used to do all kinds of things that would get us kicked off of any sports team, I didn't hear about either of them for over a year after their passing. You know how they say say everything changes after you graduate High School? Back in 83 I was down at the village market and I hear this Scream "JIM .......JIM!!!!" Scott called me by name. I wasn't sure who he was talking to at first and then we pal'd around all summer. And Mike was actually interested in my music. We were actually lucky not to get arrested...... college sophomores and scotty kept getting us dates with High School Seniors. Those two guys were priceless! Anyway...........
My oldest son James is one of the best athletes in his school and he's smart and thanks a great deal to his Mom, is one of the handsomest kids I've ever seen and he's a really kind and generous kid too. He reminds me alot of Poe in that as long as you're honest, he can be friends with just about anyone. My son Matthew is the spittin image of my own Dad. He's a good kid and a good athlete himself. He's got a temper though not sure where he got that from;) Oh and he thinks he's Tony Hawk. OMG he scares the hell out of me. Anyway, George, Poe, Doug I'm glad to hear from you and continue our friendship. Anyone else wants to drop me a line, that would be great.
As the sun hides his head, for another nights rest and the wind sings his same old song. And you on the edge never close never far always there when I needed a friend. Well it's hard living life on this memory-go-round always up, always down, spinning round and round and round.... (NR)
