Occupation: CEO & Co-Founder/Next
Ideas Inc. Website: www.nextideasmobile.com Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Chris: Incredible job in putting the reunion together George…I still have visions of you and Rowe throwing paper balls in Collischonn’s History class!
After a false start at Bryant College (accounting wasn’t for me, so I thought), I transferred and received a degree in CompSci at the University of Bridgeport. For the next eight years I was employed as a software programmer and database designer at two Fortune 100 companies. After many late nights debugging unreadable code, I decided it was time for a major change so I got married and sat for my MBA at Stern School of Business / NYU. The former was a mistake (divorced within 2 years), the latter opened my eyes to life beyond the computer. I soon met my spiritual connection, my wife Yazzy, an absolute dynamo of a person who has a wit that leaves many, including yours truly, in the dust. We moved to the Philippines where I began my career in investment banking at Jardine Fleming in 1996. Luckily, I was re-located to our parent office in London just before the 1997 Asian Crisis struck the region. We enjoyed London immensely and gave birth to two wonderful children, Kevin (7) and Cristina (5), there. As an American-Filipino-Mexican, working there at an investment bank in the middle of the Internet Boom was quite an experience. By 2001/2002, the party was just about winding down when Chase Manhattan Bank acquired us, plus three other banks including JPMorgan. Although I just about made all of the cuts I decided to take the severance package dangled in front of me and semi-retired to an island, the Philippine Islands. I screwed around with a third-party independent convertible research idea for awhile when an idea smacked me to combine my computer technology background with my telecom and technology investment banking background. I am now a co-founder of a mobile application and social networking start-up (Next Ideas Inc.). We launched the first Filipino mobile entertainment service (www.naksmobile.com) in the US in Feb 2006 and are preparing to launch the first Filipino social network in the next several months. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the reunion as I have to return to our development center in Manila. But my wife Yazzy will be joining Chuck Nash, his wife Jeannine and Keith Olsen at the festivities.
God bless and a safe and happy life. Thanks George and Rick.
Trivia question: Who gave me the nickname “Tiki”?
(Note from George: Now THAT'S A "Since '81" Story--it was exhausting just to READ, never mind live...my guess to the Tiki question is Doug Overby) |

Occupation: Sales/Pulp & Paper
Industry Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Chuck: Following graduation from Miami University (of Ohio), I moved to Boston to work as a sales representative for a paper distributor called Unisource. While living downtown (Beacon Hill), I met an Emerson College grad student named Jeannine Fossett, who was working on her Masters in Special Education. We were married in October 1989, and spent our first 8 years enjoying city living, weekending in Maine, and taking annual vacations overseas before finally settling down to start a family. We have two children: our daughter Melanie is 9, and our son Michael is 7. Jeannine is a Speech Therapist, and rececntly returned to work after a sabbatical as a stay-at-home mom. As for me, I was transferred to Unisource's Hartford division in October 1997, where I last served as product manager for web papers. In November 2005 I left Unisource after 19-1/2 years to take a sales rep position at a Finnish paper manufacturer called UPM-Kymmene. UPM is a multinational corporation, with facilities in Europe, North America, and mainland China. UPM's US headquarters is in Chicago, so I work out of our house in Granby, CT covering New England, NY State, NYC/NJ, PA, and Baltimore/Washington. The paper business can be fun, but has its challenges - a mature industry, high capital costs, increasing energy costs, and strong competition from low-cost producers in east asia. |

Occupation: Equities Trader
Marital Status: Married From Robert: Graduated from Fairfield Univ. with a Economics degree in 1986. Moved to Atlanta in 1990 where I've lived for the last 16 years. Got married in 1996 to a girl from Wilton (class of '88) I met when working as a tennis instructor. Forced to give up tennis (knees) in 1999 after playing it for over 28 years. Work as a trader---but spend the days thinking of when I'll get to play golf again. Have the best wife ( I meant to press the "w" key. Not a typo). Thank you George for your recent e-mail asking me what I've been up to the last 25 years, encouraging everyone to participate on the web site, and to attend the events planned for this once in a lifetime reunion. |

Marital Status: Married
No. of Children: 3 From Karen: Hello to all! Sounds and looks like the reunion was a blast! Still can't believe it's been 25 years and it's been fun looking over the website. I married Scott Selvage and we have two children together. Jessica who will be 18 in December and Stephen who is 15. We divorced after 7 years. I remained single for 4 years with all my focus on my kids.Scott and I remain friends. Well as it is said, never say never. I firmly believe in gifts from heaven and I got married again in 1997, to the most wonderful man. I was never one to believe in *soul* mates but I am now. We had a daughter, Danielle, in 1998. We reside in Bethel and I am fortunate to work from home and outside the home. I wish you all continued success, peace, love and happiness as I have been so fortunate to have in my life. |

Marital Status: Married
No. of Children: 2 From Eileen: It has truly been a fast 25 years. I went to Lynchburg College (with half of Wilton!) and then to SHU for my MBA. I worked at Conair and Cuisinart as a marketing manager for a long time - too long probably. Once my daughter was born I decided to stay home. My son came along 18 months later, and I love being home with them. My new venture is as a Realtor, working at Hastings Real Estate in Wilton. So if you, friends or family ever want to come back to, or move out of Wilton, I'd love to help. I love to play golf and tennis whenever I have some time. OK, enough babbling - some things just don't change. It is so fun to look through this site and have so many great memories come flooding back! Super job George - thanks for all your time and effort! Looking forward to the October festivities - and the fun that promises to be in store for us all. |
