Occupation: Office Mgr/Administrator
Marital Status: Single From Laura: How fun it’s been reading about how everyone is doing! I moved to Wilton in 1969 from Italy and immediately started kindergarten so grew up with so many of you! I’m looking forward to the reunion. Life is good. I’m living in Boston working for a real estate development firm supporting the senior team and managing the office. Working hard, learning a lot and enjoying it. Here’s my unedited answer to “what have you been up to?” After WHS, I went to Wittenberg U. in Ohio where I graduated in ‘85. Spent Fall term senior year in DC in a National Government semester and then worked in Boston winter term working at Shawmut Bank. Was hell bent on getting a job by graduation and did so. My parents had moved to Wellesley, MA after high school and I loved the Boston area so I decided, once I had the job in hand, to move there after graduation. My first apt was in Brighton, MA and my roommate was Lisa Harris. We had great fun. I then moved to Beacon Hill where I’ve been since! So much in my life has changed over the years but not the neighborhood! It’s a great spot to live…close to everything My career has focused on different positions primarily focused on administration, project management, event management and some consulting. Boston is a very small town and at one point wound up working for Tip O’Neill’s son at his public affairs firm. What a great way to get to know Boston and politics! Also during the course of this time I ran 4 Boston Marathons once for Beth Israel Hospital and the others for Dana Farber Cancer Research. It was an amazing experience to achieve something I never thought I would or could do as well as to be a part of a solution to a disease that in some fashion has touched all of us, sadly. My parents are healthy and well living in Saratoga Springs, NY a block away from my sister Jennifer, her husband Kurt and my nephews Will (5) and Robby (1-1/2) who I just adore. They love the fact that their Mimi and Chief live so close by. My brother Rob and his wife Heather live in Wellesley and have a little girl, Avery, who you can see with me in this picture. My brother teaches at the Dana Hall School. I’ve always been involved with participating in and starting charity events over the years which have been rewarding and fun. For the past few years have a hosted a monthly party to stir up the proverbial social pot including my married and single friends. All in all, I’m quite blessed to have my health, family and good friends. Well, I’ve blabbed on long enough. I’m looking forward to seeing folks in October. |

Occupation: Accounting Manager
Marital Status: Married From Jill: Hi everyone! Greetings from sunny Florida! It truly is unbelievable that 25 years have past and that we will soon be reunited, I look older but don’t feel it! I am honored to be in the company of such successful and accomplished classmates. For myself, I graduated from UCONN in December 1985 and started my accounting career (Annie Laurie would be proud) in a CPA firm in beautiful downtown Bridgeport. From there I worked for a cable TV company in Greenwich and loved all the free tickets to concerts and sporting events. Who knew Jill Waibel would become a WWF fan? My husband Bob and I married during that time and subsequently moved to Jacksonville (go Jaguars!) in 1992 to be closer to his aging parents. I took a great job as a financial accountant for a national architectural/engineering firm and remained there eight years until I hit the glass ceiling. I moved up to be a controller for a $50mm heavy construction company - a job I also loved but had to leave when the company merged and centralized its accounting back to Detroit. Since then I have been an accounting manager for Montecito Property Company, a $1 billion real estate development firm. Through the years I have focused on my career and recently graduated with an MBA from the University of North Florida. Bob and I enjoy the Florida lifestyle, enjoying time at the beach, biking, mild hiking, football games and being very involved with our community. Unfortunately, Bob has not been able to persuade me to learn how to play the frustrating game of golf, although I have planned many corporate tournaments and attend the TPC every year. I plan to continue my involvement with UNF and hope to travel abroad with one of their many international programs. We have only been back to CT a few times since we moved to Jacksonville, but still miss the rolling hills of Wilton and boating on Long Island Sound. My older brother Neal lives in West Haven, Lee is in Ridgefield, Jan is in Harrisburg and Lynn is outside of DC. The Waibel clan celebrated our parents’ 50th wedding anniversary last Labor Day and although they retired to NC some time ago, we had the celebration in CT. It was like going back in time. Stew Leonard’s is still amazing! I am looking forward very much to catching up with all of you, and although my singing days are over (except for the shower), I am ready to tear up the dance floor at the Riding Club party (and not the old-fashioned Walter Schalk way)!!! |

Website: lisamccubbin.com
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 2 From Lisa: Hi everybody! Looking forward to the reunion. I currently live in Naperville, Illinois (a Chicago suburb) with my husband, Brent (a graduate of Staples HS) and our two sons, Connor (14) and Cooper(12). I've had a wild and crazy life since leaving Wilton in 1981. I got married in 1989 and since then have lived in Princeton, NJ, twice in Naperville, IL, Fairfax, VA, Bakersfield, CA, and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. We lived in Saudi Arabia from 2001-2003--a very volatile time to be in the Middle East--and I'm currently writing a book about the experience. You can check it out at www.lisamccubbin.com Can't wait to see y'all at the reunion. |

Occupation: Nurse
Marital Status: Divorced No. of Children: 2 From Ann: I have two beautiful daughters and am a registered nurse working as a nursing supervisor for an extended care Rehab facility. Beth Thompson and I still laugh about the dumbest things. Actually this picture was taken by Beth last summer when she, my daughter and I went to the beach while my daughter was looking at colleges. I'm divorced but in a wonderful relationship with a man that treats me like a Queen and most importantly, he makes me laugh! |

Occupation: Environmental Scientist
Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 1 From Iver: Wow - why is it that it seems like only the guys have aged? After WHS I played in Burlington, VT for a few years and somehow got a degree in wild life. Biology, that is. '87-'88 I got the Best Job Ever and was paid by the National Park Service to backpack around Mt. Rainier and count the flowers. In '90 I got the Second Best Job Ever and was paid by Mass Audubon to wander around the beaches of Cape Cod and count the birds. And that's where I met my wonderful wife - kind of a romantic place to fall in love! We moved up to Maine, I got a degree in Oceanography and then got the Third Best Job Ever where I was paid by ME Dept. of Marine Resources to mess around in boats and catch fish. For the past 11 years I've been working for ME Dept. of Environmental Protection trying to get the Dept. of Defense to clean up their Superfund sites in Maine. NOT up there on the "best jobs ever" list, but it's never boring. We have an awesome 9 year-old daughter who has provided me more than joy than any man deserves. Then there are our two weimaraners and horse. We live in a house we built in the woods that is surrounded by thousands of acres of forest and the ocean is just down the road - bald eagles, moose, beavers, coyotes, owls, clean air, bright stars - it's heaven! Hmmm...funny how after all these years my yearbook quote still holds true. I still sing and garden and see my parents frequently (they retired up here about an hour away from us). Not sure if I'll make the reunion but it sounds like fun! Thanks a lot George - this is really an awesome feat. |
